Default Engine Covers

How do I get the plastic engine cover things off my engines to inspect the upper intake manifold and see what'* under there out of pure interest?

Does the plastic piece around where you add the oil slide off? I tried pulling on it, but didn't want to pull too hard and damage something.

are you talkin about the oil cap? it unscrews and then u can pull the cover off the engine... maybe im not talkin bout the same thing, but if its the engine cover, its jus unscrew, lift, and yer good... mine has a hook by the backof the engine u have to push down and the cover and then pull it out... its easy tho

On mine.. I have to remove the oil neck extension piece .. after removing the cap.. simply twist the extension neck piece clockwise and it comes right off like the cap did.. a plastic bolt on the top and that'* it. There maybe a clip on the back but I don't quite remember ( since I took mine off since last year.. and left it off to help keep the engine running cooler in summer..
