My compressor dosent seem to be turning on when I have people in the car car . I sat on the trunk jam and the compressor is not switching on. I searched the forum and read about depressing the schrader valve . Where is this ? what else can I check? The compressor does come on with the infaltor switch. Thanks .

The compressor should come on about 30 seconds after the key is turned to "on" whether or not the motor is started. Just turn the key and wait by the right rear of the car on most cars. It should run for about 4 seconds that is just long enough to stabilize its pressures even if it doesn't need to pump up the rear end.

Its working . I got down there and listened. It seemed to be noisier when I first got the car. Maybe it got a little gummed up and was louder before.Thanks for the help.

The schrader valve won't help you any, we don't know what year you have, and a loud ELC pump could be a problem.
