I got a 58 today. PASS key fuel enable circuit. Is your key dirty?

Oh sorry, its a 92 SSE Supercharged. The key may be a littly dirty, I can clean it off... would that really matter though? Or would having a remote starter have anything to do with it since I'm not using the key to start it?

Did you install the remote starter? I'm wondering about the bypass for the resistor chip in the key.

No, it was professionally installed when the previous owner (my cousin) owned it.

ahh glad to finally know why I get code 58! I bypassed the passlock. Jet wanted $150 to bypass it in the chip for me... ouch.
