I finally found it!!!!

My Bonneville search has quite a history, about 7 years long (since I first started dreaming about owning a jet black SSEi, also falling in love with the torque star chrome rims after they were introduced).

Since that time, especially after the 2000 body style change, I learned that I could go "outside the box" of my original search for a 1999 black SSEi. And now, after a whirlwind 2 days of finding my car (listed at autotrader.com) to writing the check... I am the proud owner of an emerald green 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SLE. And yep, it'* got torque stars!
