Driver door has a slight leak....
I have a 92 bonneville se and i recently noticed that the driver door has a slight leak around the top part of the stripping. I've checked the stripping and the hinges and everything seems to be fine. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It'* not that big of a deal now, since its a small leak but i don't know if it will get worse or what.[/b]

Seems to be a pretty common issue for 92-99. Here is a recent thread about water leaks. You can do a "Search" for more threads and info.

Yeh I read all those but my a/c isnt even hooked up so I know its not that. The door looks like its sitting like a hair off the car. priciate the link though. thanks man

Sorry, I was more referring to the shrinkage of the door seal...
I do think many others have had door seal problems and hopefullly they will chime in here, soon, for you with some additional ideas.

Also, attached to the roof, along the top of where the doors meet the roofline is a black plastic drip rail, held on with several screws. If the plastic is cracked or the screws are loose, there may be a chance that water could leak in above the rubber door seals.

Some of my screws were loose as well.....<boy, that doesn't sound right>....I replaced them with screws from the dealer as the adhesive material on the threads on many of the screws was deteriorated. Anyways, I am glad I could give you some direction to begin looking fo rthe leak. Good luck. Keep checking here for more advice fomr others and let us know when you get it fixed and what it was.

just now getting around to work on the seal...which one are you talkin about....the one on the door frame or the one on the door itself? i'm trying to get everything at once and save a second or third trip to the parts store...like that will happen. but yeh...any"more" help is appriciated. thanks
