Default Draining radiator--petcock help

Am I just suppose to take a pair of pliers to that chincy plastic petcock handle? I'm afraid I'm gonna break it. Do i also need to drain the block to take the intake manifold off?

Yes. And No.

Just get the petcock loose. Then turn by hand.

Don't need to drain the block. Just be aware that some coolant will come out when you lift the LIM. So don't tip it till you're clear of the lifter valley.

I'll take payment in the form of a pic of your tranny harness connector. Put it in my "DrJay? Interceptor..." thread in 92-99.
