I just wanted to point out that if, when you pull the vacuum line off the FPR, you see any gas there, replace the FPR regardless of the pressures you test. If gas is there then the FPR's internal diaphram is leaking and letting fuel into the vaccum system.

Does the 93 ssei have the regulator? My numbers are close to 39/40 at idle but drop under accel almost would love to define my issue as pump but buddy re borrowed guages to continue our gto project, I think unless you guys scream I need a new pump?

yea I was having trouble with it spitting gas and i check online and they said there was a Recall so i took it to the buick dealer, sure enough replaced for free !

yes the 93 would have an FPR. reverify your pressures. At idle you should have about 41, disconnect the vacuum line from the fpr it should shoot up to around 50, put the vacuum line back on and it should drop to 41 again. turn off the engine and its should be able to hold near that pressure for several minutes while it bleeds off. The bleed off should be a slow process, if you see the pressure drop right off you have other problems.
