Default Dang friggin steering wheel stereo buttons not workin!!!

The only button on my steering wheel that works regularly is the volume up button all the others work sometimes or not at all and it doesnt even feel like they are "clicking" when I push them anymore this is a relatively small annoyance but I am very picky with my car so I would love to fix it.

Any ideas???

I lost the 'Volume Down' function last summer. Removing the hush panel from the bottom of the dash and pushing harness toghether fixed it. Just a thought.
