I was unaware that they could tell by the VIN #. If I WERE you. I would verify that by looking at your RPO sticker. If you had to order a new part, wait 5 days for it to come in, find out its the wrong one, well, you have to send it back, wait another week or so. Best to verify first.

this is a note to all that owns a 96 Bonneville SSEI Supercharged
I have being informed by GM that they NO LONGER have the right side CV axle shaft, as well from what GM tells me the CV shaft on the 96 is different from all others cause the gear ratio is 2.93. the only way for me to fix my car now is to find one at a scrap yard.
