It should be welded. Mine was $145 for the welds and parts (excluding muffler). Since you would only be talking labor...probably some where between $50-80 USD. Labor is typically $60 an hour. Call around.

I work at a dealer, I can get labor for $30 an hour. I wish someone would have told me to get clamps with hangers, I just bought regular clamps. And I've seen BonneMeMNs video and site. It'* what I'm aiming for.

Well, my plan from the diagram has changed. Got 90* bends in two 3.5 foot 2.5" OD sections, just going to cut them to length once the muffler is installed.

Hangers can be made easy enough with rod stainless, bent, and welded to the pipe.

Could I just fab some up that will attach to the clamps I have, and what do I attatch the hangers to underneath the trunk?

Truthfully, I think your wasting your money. The stock exhaust flows just fine for a stock motor.

Why did GM add a 2.5" exhaust with a free-er flowing muffler to my 93 then?

I dunno about how much you really get out of a Flowmaster, but I want the sound. Right now when I go up hill all you hear is a wine and the exaust is quiet. After viewing BonneMeMN'* videos, I was surprised with how good a V6 sounds with better exaust. I'm not a fan of the Jap cars with the garbage can mufflers.... I keep wanting to pull up next to them and ask if it'* true? Nothing runs like a Deere.

Agreed, I just want the sound. Do I have to hang the tail pipes, or just the muffler?

The high flow exhaust (n10 RPO) was an option on 93'*, and stadanrd on th sport luxury package (my car has this). It had 2.5" mandrel bent pipe, a catalytic converter, and the double outlet (one side) muffler. I don't think they went to all this trouble for nothing...
