OK. I want my make my own custom CIA tube. What do I need to get to do this with. And is there somewhere that I can get instructions on how to do this? I will be using a K&N filter.

You do mean CAI, as in Cold Air Intake right?

Yeah. I meant CAI. I wrote it wrong. In the post itself and in the subject.

You need some sort of pipe first of all. I recommend going to an exhaust or performance shop and getting a length of 3 inch metal pipe(aluminum, stainless steel, or steel) mandrel bent. You'll need to do some measuring too. Take out your stock airbox and the rubber accordian looking tube attached to the throttle body. Now you just need to do some measurements. Also getting some sort of reducer or coupler for the throttle body to the intake pipe will be needed.

For example:have the pipe extend 5 inches from the throttle body and have a 47 degree mandrel bent in the tube and then 10 inches from the bend to where your filter will be.
Lastly a form of coating should be applied to the pipe to protect it from engine bay heat.
I sent mine to performancecoatings.com for a Cermachrome coating. Cost me ~20 USD for that

No, it would just be plain steel or stainless. There'* no type of heat shielding coating on there. Headers and exhaust manifolds should be the only exhaust piece in need of a coating.

Another Question... Are there any other models of cars that have a similar CAI that would fit the Bonne.

I think you can adapt a civic intake to fit, but that'* not as fun.

Ol' blue eye'* has one that'* off of a civic, works pretty good, and goes more into the corner then most. One of his friends said it'* at circuit city pretty cheap with filter. it was sort of an * bend.
