roughly 7-8 psi is that seem liek an ormal amount? in other words doesnt reach the yellow area

Clogged catalytic converters can kill MPG/performance. You'll notice bad performance though.

7-8 is normal for boost on a stock motor.

I think im just gonna go and buy all the basic stuff for a tune up. air filter fuel filter oil filter 180 t stat maybe a pcv valve and a new tube for my evap canister. Does that sound like a good idea?

if my cat converter was clogged how woudl you go about fixing that? Buy a new one?

a typically clogged or bad catalytic would rattle when kicked and make the car feel very restricted at WOT. Also it will usually heat up the motor pretty well. But with the heat we've all been seeing this year it may be tough to say it'* a cat or not.

You should see some good improvements from the basics you mention above.

Don't forget a bottle of fuel injector cleaner next tank, tire pressure, and more.
Hows the alignment.

I have new tires rotated and all that fun stuff. With the cat im not so sure i do feel like there is a load on the engine but it still has soem get up and go just not spin the tires awsomely get up and go lol.
