What exact changes have you made to the engine in the past few weeks that could affect this?
Is your 02 Sensor old at all?
Does the exhaust smell really rich even when the car is warmed right up?

What is your year and model? Do you live up north? During the winter months my gas mileage is only 15-19mpg but from spring to fall its around 20-24mpg. I think "winter gas" is only a northern states deal. Add the winter gas and cold temps and you got a good combo for bad mileage.

he'* right. I've only gotten 13-16 during the winter. Winter gas plus low tire pressure plus other winter related crap does take a major toll on your mileage so wait until the temperatures stablize unlike this stupid Ohio (we had four seasons in one week..)

I agree with the others. I get pretty crappy mileage in the winter. I get about 240 miles on 16 gallons in the winter. I get a touch over 300 during the spring/fall. Hot summers drop it a bit again from running the A/C 24/7.

Is this a general rant or a request for help?

Based on your previous posts, your car is a 92-99. Moving to that forum.

Please add your year and trim level to your signature.
