is there any suggestions on how to patch my lower intake i just noticed a semi long crack on the backside of my intake by my coolant temp sensor or anybody know where online i can get a new one stock or peformance???? 1994ssei

Do you have a picture of the crack? I'm thinking that it'* superficial and might not be a concern if your car is still running good.

The other option would be to find one off a recycled vehicle or see if the one that is currently on it can be welded.

there is oil leaking from the bolt on the backside by the crack where the lim usually blows out thats how i found the crack i tried to get a good pic but couldnt without taking a bunch off im planning on replacing LIM this week just didnt know if i could use any kind of bonding compound to patch it up

First cracked lim I've heard of. Please post the pictures. I'd like to see it. I'm thinking a junkyard is your best source of parts.

did you let her over heat or loose too much coolant that would cause a LIM to crack.

i just bought the car ive had it about 3 weeks now and im pretty good at makin sure my fluids r good but when i cleaned my motor i guess it washed off all the build up and thats when i noticed the crack also my LIM gasket is leaking a lil bit dont know what went wrong along the way but i gotta fix her and i cant find a new intake anywhere please help i would prefer a ner ported and polished one if any body knows where

Sounds like someone may have overheated it...

i will post a pic of the LIM by saturday when i got her there was writing on the fan shroud it said needs radiator so im guessing thats probably what happened it hasnt got over the mark past 200 bon my temp gauge i work a mile from home she barely gets warm on most days would when i get the pics posted imma need some suggestions
