Default a couple of questions about a 1993 bonneville SSEI

Hey I am looking at a 93' bonneville ssei and was wondering about performance. Ive driven my friends 1989 bonneville and it was pretty slugish will the supercharger make a big difrence? I know this wont ever be incredibly fast but with some work will I be able to beat some civics? Last question is anyone know how much this car weighs.

Where do I begin? 93 may very well be the best, or at least the most FRIENDLY year. Last year of the PCM 'flash' feature for extracting codes, and the same for the ECC codes. Easy to work on, EASY to get more performance.

Stock for stock, eat civics for lunch, regardless of the 3600 pound weight.

Local rice fears me. And my car truly scares the crap out of them, because they don't know what the hell it is.

In this order:

180° thermostat
additional tranny cooler (yes, right in front of the stock cooler)
Intake (copy anyone here) 5-10hp depending on pulley
2.2" Supercharger pulley - 25 hp or so, even more torque
Exhaust....replace cat and muffler with performance units (go Magnaflow to keep me happy)
Chip

prjk - You picked the right year to ask about. Willwren...aka Bill is one of the two fastest Bonnies in the universe. Bill...156mph??? Something like that.

You want speed, you came to the right forum. Hope you can handle the speeding tickets. My 95 SSEi stock has plenty of power to stomp the local rice here as well. Turns em into egg foo young. The whole time they are staring at you like...that boat just beat me...it'* a great look, you'll get used to it.

The coolest cosmetic feature is the fact that it doesn't say "bonneville" anywhere on the car. Only Pontiac on the rear bumper, and it'* hard to read. Impossible at night. Unless they know what the SSEi means on the trunk lid, they have no idea what just blew their doors off.
