Default Couple Questions

1) If the engine code on my SSEi is the 8th digit in the vin from left to right, what does a 1 Mean?

2) Does the air conditioning (if equipped) activate by turning the temp on the climate control down all the way?

Thanks

VIN 1 is the L67, the supercharged engine. 92-95 are Series 1 L67s, and 96-03 are Series 2 L67s.

For the a/c, not all the way down unless you like it at 60*. It should be on as long as "a/c" is lit up at the bottom of the climate control (ECC) display.
