Default coolant in the thottle body intake?

when i took off the the throttle body to clean it as i pulled it off some coolant came out? is that normal?

yes coolant flows below the TB

Read my TB porting thread in Performance. Look at the pics. See the 'smile' shaped port in the back of the TB? Just below the bore? That'* the coolant path.

Hey Bill, when I researched water injection, I only saw references to supercharged or turbocharged engines as a means for increasing output by keeping the charge cooler.

I would be interested in a simple system for the L36 just to keep it clean. Are there any significant differences in what is needed/cost?

It will work on the NA models just wont have the same gains
