Be careful putting it back in because the O-rings (2) are delicate and rip easy (experience!!). To replace it cost me 30 bucks or so. To bypass it, a paper clip between the connector taped up does it but that is just butchering a beautiful car!!!
the problem is that i can't seem to find the sensor locally. the warming light doesn't come on all the time, it would come on and go out or just stay on for a while. i just want to stop this for the mean time because the ringing sound and light is making me nuts, especially when it goes off when i have someone else in the car, i just want to patch it up till i can get a sensor.
i took a look at the plug but there are three wires in it, so witch one on the wires do i have the connect together.

You think the dinging is bad when you show low coolant, you should see what happens when your instrument cluster is messed up. Mine would ding dong, flash, buzz, go dark, etc randomly and without warning. And usually when I was trying to show someone how nice my car was !!!!!
