OK. Thanks for the help so far guys... You're right, the tell tale sign of 'spray' marks on the underside of the hood tells me I have the exact same problem you did... that'* why my belt is delaminating so often.
So now I'm waste deep in engine parts and have minut damage to my knuckles so far... But I digress...after removing both of the belts, engine mount bracket asmbly and water pump pulley, I've discovered that I can access and remove all but one of the WP bolts. I have one 1/2" bolt on the far left side of the water pump that is partially blocked by the idler pulley mounting bracket. This bracket seems to also attach all the idler pulleys, alternator and/or power steering pump. I don't deserve this much fun.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a quick and dirty solution to accessing that last bolt short of removing everything mentioned above (which seems like the only option...)?
