control arm / stabilizer problem
well you may remember me posting about bending my control arm after hitting a curb, and the new control arm is on and installed... MOSTLY.
the bolt that goes from the control arm to the steering stabilizer needed to be replaced, it was almost worn through and all rusted up. I got a new one, but the rubber insulator things that came with the new bolt seem much softer, and when i tighten the nut, they just keep squishing more and more until they go flat... this doesn't seem right to me, but it also doesn't seem right to just leave it not completely tightened at a random point before they start squishing... i mean there has to be a place where the nut stops right? should i crank it down even if the rubber things are flattened?
take it all apart and put the older, harder ones on? (i hope not! :( )
any advice is appreciated
