Default Coil Pack Dissassembly

I'm replacing my coil packs and ICM and tried taking them apart but can't identify the correct socket. It seems to be between a 5 and 6 mm? Anybody done this before? Is it a special tool?

my three dollar socket set from wal-mart came with a 5.5mm socket in it, and i have used them on my bonny before....

When i replaced mine i had to drive a freaking hour to get a 5.5mm socket. Get this. Autozone didn't have one, Napa didn't have one, Advanced auto didn't have one, Ace hardware didn't have one. And there'* not wallmart for a hour. grrrrrrr.

yeah, all the "made in japan" cheapo sets I have seem to have alot of half socket sizes, 5.5 and 4.5 I have used on car interiors before, check your local car parts store for the $5 special socket set combo thing, and should have one in it...after that I keep those in my trunk for emerency use

Yikes! Such strong feelings about socket. We'll I went out and got a cheapo $6 set and it had the elusive 5.5 mm. Never seen one before. I found also that a 7/32" works on them. Thanks! We'll see if the coil pack/ICM swaps gets rid of my stumbling problem.
