Just a quick question on my Bonne. I have a 92 SE with the 3.8. I am getting a "service engine soon" light and the car seems to be idleing slightly rough and possibly getting poorer mileage. I did a paper clip pull of the codes and got a code 41. This code is listed as a faulty MEM-CAL. However when I search on this site I see a lot of reference to the cam position sensor. Was there a difference in Code 41 according to the year of the vehicle? Also if I do need a new PROM, where is the ECM accessed at on the vehicle. I can get a boneyard ECM from an identical car and was wondering if I can just swap the ECM,*. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
