Default Code 39

Last Wednesday, I had to change my knock sensor. After I changed it, I disconnected & reconnected the battery and re-tested it. I had no codes. Today, I decided to recheck and make sure it was actually the sensor being worn out. Luckily, the sensor didn't throw a code, but not-so-luckily, I got a Code 39. I've got a list of codes from a mechanic and it says that it is a "Torque Converter Clutch Problem"

Could anyone tell me what this may be.

I know that the TCC is involved in the transmission. I recently had it overhauled. Could it may be just the guy trying to stiff me?
