Default Code 15

Was driving my car the otherday and it woudn't shift worth a crap and then my check engine light came on, got a code key from autozone and it came back code 15, looked it up and some about the ECM wasn't getting a tach signal or speed signal. Any ideas or help would very welcome.

Code 15 was a bad tach signal or bad speed sensor?

Techinfo says:
15 - Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit ( Low Temperature Indicated )

You may want to check your temp sensor under the throttle body.

I don't know...thats what the chilton book said(think it was chilton). code 15 was a bad signal, or all things are ok...something like that. Would a bad temp sensor screw with the shifting?
