First is it possible for a 95 SE with manual climate controls to swap with a digital 95 SSE?
Second, if yes what else is needed to work with the head unit?

This has been dicsussed before. Here is a more recent one but in a 89-91 flavor. You will encounter the same types of problems. There was another fairly recent as well but I can't seem to find it.
There'* a lot more than just changing the ECC head and a vacuum line or two.

Well thanks again, but I'm gonna call it quits on this idea.:( It'll just be too hard to track down a service manual and the parts without spending an arm and a leg. Sounds like manual has a couple advantages over auto anyway.
Staying with the manual controls is an excellent idea. I only wish I could switch to them FROM the electonic kind. Mine doesnt work right and has a airmix door actuator problem. Not good for the winter I'll tell you that!
