Hey all. I read that the digital control unit on the 96'* are different than the 93'*. I plan on changing my radio/cd player to a newer model (96-99). If I understand right. the newer radio will not make my climate control lights dim, or something like that. Also will the newer climate contol interchange with my 93'? Any info would me much appreciated.. Thanks to all the helpful infor..

OK, follow my procedure.

If you are going to fix the climate control dimming problem, you must use the climate control head from a 1994. I can't guarantee that the head from the 95-99 would work with your programmer.
