Default Climate Control

The Junk Yard by my house has a climate control out of a 1994 SSEi that has the Mode and Auto button on it. I want one soooooooo bad so i can change where the air flows, Will it fit my car?? Please say yes, but only if it will LOL! Thanks for your advise.

The ATC from a 1994 does not have a mode button. It should look just like the one in your car now.

The unit they have is likely from a 95-99 if it has a mode button. I do not know if it will work because the HVAC programmers are different from 94 to 95.

Haveing the button is a PITA anyway, the car does what it wants half the time. To get it where you want it takes 3-4 presses. Also, when you hit AUTO, it turns the A/C on no matter where the temp is set. Just a characteristic of the GM Climate Control system. A big PITA.
