My white wire on my alternator is broken........would this have anything to do with my problem? What does it lead to? Thanks

I know when I was messing with my alternator yesterday, when I unplugged my connector on my alt., my volts gauge went to zero, and my check gauges light came on.

It'* very possible that your white wire is the issue.

Is there a reason it'* cut? I would get that fixed up and see if that takes care of the issue.

Yeah unhook battery and resplice that white wire, tape it up good. See what happens- couldn't hurt

Make sure you use electrical tape. I know this from experience, LOL!
