Check Engine light Only when car is stopped?
1994 SSEi.....The check engine light seems to only come on when i am stopped but as soon as i start to accelerate it goes off. Someone please let me know what the problem is

when i am not moving in my car they oil pressure gauge goes down all the way to the red area and that is when the check gages light comes on. As soon as i accelerate the light goes off and the gauge goes up. I checked the oil and it seems fine

May be time for a rebuild or replacement motor.
