Check Engine Light
My 96 SE had a check engine light today. I got out my trusty code reader you guys have recommended and it came up with a 0135 and a 0135P. My little book with the scanner says 0135 is an O2 sensor on the rt bank but it has no code for 0135P. Should I change this out or just erase the code and see if it happens again? I have noticed my gas mileage has dropped several mpg recently but I was just blaming the winter gas for that. Are the o2 sensors hard to change? Thanks
No clue on the sensor. My bro in law was lax on maintenance so might be original. Car is at 121K. I just finished reading your instructions on replacing the O2 sensor in the "how to" section. Very handy! I should have read that first before posting. I will look into finding a Denso replacement. Thanks!
