Anyone got a pic of what the information check center (the car outline symbol on the dash) looks like with key on and ignition off??? There are only a few lights on mine that check when motor is started, check oil level and something else. Shouldnt it show trunk/hood open, tail light/* out, doors open, etc? Mine shows almost nothing with ignition on and motor off so I think thr PO might have removed some bulbs from the display perhaps???

BTW, its a 95 SE.

mine say check oil level check gauges and washer fluid low them are the only 3 on mine but the washer fluid one doesnt turn on unless its low

Doesnt it show door/trunk/hood open, tail/headlight out, etc??? check guages also comes on when gas gets low so I guess its the low gas light as well............just seems like more crap should light up with ignition on/motor off.........

nope i dont think there is anything else in there i had a brake light out a few months ago and didnt know it til i got pulled over

Odd... mine is a 94 and the only thing i dont have that Dan does is the "traction control" light... *scratches head and thinks*

Maybe because yours is a SSEi Sheff??? Mine doesnt have the test button or any digital readout but I gotta believe there'* more than just oil level and check guages on it, otherwise why show the whole car symbol if you dont know a light bulb is out or your door is ajar or other basic functions........just seems strange...........I recently bought the car so maybe the PO took out bulbs/fuses or disconnected a harness to hide any potential trouble indicators.............car runs perfect tho.........

good possibility being a basic vs ssei... can you take a picture of it so we know exactly what is lit up and what your lookin at???
