Chaning the belt on a 95 Bonni?
OK so i try and change the belt on the car and it has a motor mount right in between sop my guess is that it has to be removed in order to change the belt?
Can anybody shine some light on my please.

i dunno about you but with mine i just got a breaker bar and applied counterclockwise pressure on the tensioner to loosen the belt. replace, follow the belt routing diagram on the radiator.
can be done under one minute.

I haven't ever changed mine, but I can see where Caedo is coming from. On my Series II engine, it appears that the belt encircles one of the mounts. I don't see any obvious way of changing the belt without removing that mount. Is there a way?
Ok the lower bar that attaches to the block from the motor mount can be disconnected this bar is the one I used. Takes a bit of work and make sure you take off the pressure on the mount so its easy. Use a jack or a bar properly positioned across the engine bay to take the engine weight.

This can be quite a task though, I just gave up and took my 99 in to Goodyear and had them do it for me, They have the right tools for hte job, and it only took them a half hour, compared to me trying to do it by myself for over 4 hours. Oh well you live and learn
Confusion? I have a 95 se (Wish I had a supercharger) And the belt removal is easy. I just loosened (acturlaly took off) the belt tensioner and did what I neededs to do. Really only like a 10 minute job. I needed it to replace the alternator. Damn whine. lol.
