Default CEL 97 sabre

hey guys tonight i had the car in the shop and was just rinseing off the salt from the car with just a hose and i poped the hood and wet down the engine like i have done 1000 times before but with a power washer and i moved the car out side and let it idle to warm it up and what not and when i jumped in it like 15 mins later the CEL was on and the ONLY thing i did diff this time was i sprayed some water repelent on the CCbox the maf plug not into it just on top of the closed conns just to keep water away and thats all i did diff from the other times do you think that may have caused it?

How old are the wires.

My first idea would be you got something wet..caused a small skip.misfire and that set the CEL. We'd need you to pull the CEL to verify.
