Car won't start because of "Security System"
I have a 93 bonneville that won't start because of the security system on it. When I try to start it the "security" light turns on and nothing happens. I can start it from the starter but then it dies after a few seconds. I've had two mechanics look at it and they said its because of the VATS system on it and that I would have to take it to the dealership to fix it. I don't want to go that route because you know how expensive that will be.
Is there a way to fix it without having to deal with the dealership? Is there a way to shut down the security system???
Thanks
