From: burb of detroit. 2 miles north of 8 mile Rd.

the tensioner pulley is fine. as long as its not grinding or anything. but what im picturin is the "fresh pulley feel".
but i dont think the towel is a good idea. semi trucks do that for their diesels. gas engines are different.

Is there any up or down pulley rock on the Water Pump pulley? almost sounds like the bearings may be starting to show signs of wear.. When you turn it bu hand do you feel any roughness or binding at all?

I think you can buy a 200 degree switch from accel to turn on the fans automatically at 200. I have only used it on tpi engines, but it works good and is fairly inexpensive. If you cant find it at accel I know of a company that sells them. they just might work on your car.
