Can you manually move the climate control thermostat?
Alright guys well I think my electronic climate control is totally shot and no matter where I set the temperature, all that comes out is 90 degree heat. I cant get it to do anything but blow HOT air whether with the AC on or off. Is there anyway to manually move that sucker so that it shuts off the heater core so I can have AC again. It'* killing me!!! This is my beater and I dont care if I have to cut something to get to it, I just want AC again....

Here is the redneck fix.

I basically did the same thing except my coathanger is NOT adjustable. Just looped onto the airmix door actuator arm and push all the way to the driver side. Then wedge in place and you have full cold air.

There is small plastic box which is the airmix actuator, and there is a rod that comes off the box snaps into the small, white, round connector on the airmix door. (which is shown in the pic with a brazing rod popped into it.)
The pic is looking through a hole, behind the glovebox. You will need to "pop" teh rod off of the connector with a screw driver and use a coatrhanger or something similar (with a bent end) to put onto the white connector.
