My dad is trying to fix a code 41 on his 92. I told him that it is likely the magnet and not the sensor. He'* been poking around on the internet and left me a voicemail about the magnet on more recent models snaps in from the front instead of the back of the cam gear. Does anyone know about these? Are they swappable into a Series I?

My extensive S2 experience found nothing but magnets clipping from the back. Only thing I've seen from the front was if you ground the back off it and JB welded.

Hmm, maybe he found one for another car then...
