My wife was driving and the a/c stopped working. I noticed the compressor clutch was not engaged. I had the local a/c repair shop take a look. A/C system did not need charging. Problem was diagnosed as an electrical problem. When ground was applied to compressor relay coil and PCM connection the clutch engaged and a/c cooled. When ground was removed, clutch continued to be engaged. However when engine was turned off and restarted, clutch would not engage unless ground was again applied. If problem is the PCM is there a work around or where do I locate the replacement part without breaking the bank?
