Default a/c bypass on ser2

I was looking at a pic of a pulley delete system and i don't think you actually need a new pulley mount. If you replaced the accessory idler pulley with a ribbed pulley. You could possibly route the belt like this:

I would try it but i don't have a wp pulley.

I'm sorry to say, but that won't work. There isn't enough belt wrapped around the WP and PS Pump. And it looks like the idler applies tension to the left, while that belt is wrapped to the right. I'm sorry to say, but if GM saw that, I think they'd do that.. I doubt they'd have a new belt routing and MAKE people buy a new pulley.

Sorry if that makes no sense..

I don't know if there'* any truth in what Justin said..

However, the water pump has directional vanes and by your new routing system, the water pump will be spinning in reverse. You'd likely encounter cooling issues.

Right now, my harmonic balancer has just a wee bit more belt wrap than that of the waterpump in the proposed picture and it works fine.
If you don't know for sure don't say it won't work.

It applies tension to the right in a clockwise motion.
