i'm having the problem of a/c not working. i just but a new compessor, condensor, evaperator and had it recharged with r12a. worked great nice a chilly. after 2 days i found it was intermiting then finaly just quit . i have called around and they said it might be a comp prob. i don't know what to think tho i have power going to it, i tried the all the test the manual (gm shop manuals the greatest things) and is still messed up. if they are right it wiil cost me 1000 buks for a new comp. has anybody else had this prob?

That actually sounds like a freon leak. Do you have any pressure in the system?

Did you try turning on the compressor manually with the electronic climate control diagnostics mode? How about jumping the terminals at the low pressure switch to make the compressor come on?

well got my car back from the guy it goes to if i can not do the repair and found out it was the high low relay and the wiring was gone. but owell all fixed and didn't cost much. and was not a comp gone
