Maybe off topic here, but good idea to replace. GFs failed completely unexpectedly in her intrepid and she smacked the *** end of a countour at 45 mph. I went to the junk yard and got her back in running condition for about $200.00 (didn't get MC from junkyard), but MC are nothing to play with. It was bypassing fluid internally. It never did it while I drove it VERY carefully at night on back roads from her house to a shop where I could work on it. They can be tricky.
