Boost Gauge Not on Zero...What Does That Mean!!!

I think the boost is controled by the PCM. Not sure. One thing I am sure of is the car will automaticly give more boost up hills. Even if you don't push on the gas more up a hill it will add boost so you don't have too. I have yet to drive up a hill in which i've had to force a kickdown.

if its small twitches thats normal because the gage is electronic....
the reason ur car has more boost up hill is because the engine rpm lowers while the throttle position stays constant

mine fluctuates quite a bit, and reads redline sometimes. it bounces all over and is never consistent. sometimes at alight, it will read just under 0, sometimes just over 0, and sometimes up at like 4 or 5. it bounces all over, what could it be?? MAP maybe?

Either a MAP or a bad vaccum line going to or from the MAP.
