boost gauge should be at -10 on idle
in park, you should only be able to rev it to 0

while in gear, crusing along, it will go anywhere from -10 to 5

when you floor it (WOT) it should go to about 8-9 psi

BCS doesn't have anything to do with that I don't believe. He'* got the same problem I do....Either your MAP sensor is junk, or you have a vaccum line going to or from the sensor that'* leaking......my oil pressure gauge does the same thing, but my problem is the sending unit, from what I hear it'* a common Pontiac problem......Could be wrong.
