The only oil filter that works on my car at advanced auto parts that fits is for a 1991 bonneville. Where there any major differences in those manufactured in late 1991 and those actually manufactured in 1992. Would my engine still be considered an l27?

Mobil 1 filter, M1-101 is stock size. M1-201 (or 102, I can't remember) is for a 4.3L Chevy. It fits just the same and has a little more filtering capacity. It'* what I use.
