Well guy'* I guess I spoke to soon on the 3800 strong motor. I was drivign today and heard this loud clicking noise then 10 seconds later I heard a loud bang.
It is now leaking oil and making a very loud clack clack click clack sound. It sounds like rocks in a coffee can. Please help me diagnose the problem.

Sounds like what happened to my first engine in the 91...... it threw a rod.
My advice.... don't try to figure it out... bring it to a mechanic that you trust.

Now with that being said. It did sound like something of metal on metal contact.
