When i had problems with one of the 2047 bulbs in the headlight my blinker just turned on, and didn't flash on that side.

This was a feature (or side effect, anyway) in many older 80'* cars as well... the turn signal wouldn't flash if one bulb was blown, to "notify" you of the outage.

Of course that shouldn't be necessary, since we ALL check our lighting daily like they taught us to do in Driver'* Ed... right?

I used to drive a Dodge Caravan that did that. It was actually nice because you knew right away that you had a bulb out on the circuit.
