Hey i was wondering if anyone knew much about the blinkers on a 96 se. The side blinkers don't blink, but when i arm my alarm my headlights and blinkers blink like they should so my question is. Why do they blink when i arm my car but not when im turing? If anyone could help me it would be aprreciaded (sp?)

Check the blinker fluid level. If it'* low, you might as well replace it with the halogen stuff.












Is it an aftermarket alarm? it could be the wiring associated with it, or the car'* original blinker module could be messed up... ? Is it just the front corner blinkers that don't work, or the front middle, or the rear?

Don't mind John..he'* still sore at the person that suggested he change his muffler bearings.

The reason it flashes on the alarm is that the alarm only sends a flash to it. The problem is most likely the blinker module which looks like a little tin can and is located above the driverside hush panel (above drivers feet). Look to the right of the steering column up in there..a nice little metal looking can wtih two wires attached. That'* it. Most likely it'* bad.

lol thats fine i'm not that slow i knew he was playin. So you think it might just be a fuse but thanks for your help ill look at it once i get out of school.

It'* not a fuse. It'* a module that makes it blink.

Do they do anything at the moment? Even light up?

no they don't do anything only when i arm my car alarm. I've never really noticed that it didn't blink until a few nights ago.

Turn on your emergency flashers, they use a different module to light the same lights. Do they light up then?

umm im not real sure i will check for sure before i go to school tommorrow and then post on here during my lunch if they do or not but thanks for all the help guys!

Same thing I don't refer to it often and was on module swapping this past weekend.
