I wouldn't pull the motor if not necessary.

Clean it up first, you'll find it much easier to work on. Get 2-3 cans of degreaser/cleaner. Some people like foamy, some like non foamy. There are tons of products. Like Lash states..follow the steps...and spray from underneath if possible.

Do you mean you need to replace the supercharger coupler (the part that rattles inside?).

And most likely the only problem is the lower intake gaskets.

oh yeah the altenator is out of the way too,

and its not the supercharger coupler its the lowest pulley for the supercharger(its the only one blocked by an engine mount)

While this is not a picture of your motor exactly.. which number is that pulley?
(I'm thinking harmonic balancer and that can make your motor sound like it'* dying)

#3 on your car is alternator, power steering pump ...not supercharger belt

#9 thought...I think is...it'* called an idler pulley. Because it is not part of a tensioner and is not an accessory driven by the belt...it'* sitting there not doing anything but spinning idly.

Ok..plug the holes or put plastic over them. Clean that motor up...you will be much happier working on it.

I doubt it. I don't think I've ever heard of an L67 hydrolocking. That was misspoken perhaps thinking you had an L36.

I see no reason to pull your motor, but I do see some questions that would make me suggest buying Chilton'* #28200 for about $15-$20. It'll answer alot of your questions.

New supercharger? Not likely. There are other options. If you think you have issues with it, post that part of your problems in the Forced Induction section.

Yes, ignore that. I posted without paying more attention to your motor type, just like willwren said.
