Default Belts?

Hey all. It seems that over-night, both the accessory belt, and drive-train belt have screwed themselves. One night they were fine, and the next morning, one has a vertical split, and the other had jumped a groove, and taken a nice section out of itself. I don't understand it though, because both belts were brand new in February of this year. I have a '92 SSEi Supercharged, and no-where can I find the appropriate belt size. Most places are either out of one type, or don't sell it all-together. [Including on the internet.] Not to mention the shop wants $170.00 for parts and install. And it goes without saying, that there'* no way I'll do that. So if anyone can point me in the correct direction, I would greatly appreciate it. As always, thanks in advance.

First direction we need to point you is to checking the harmonic balancer... something wiped out your belts..that is my first thought.

Installation of belts on your car is fairly straight forward. You should be able to put them on easily.

The generic belt sizes are 610k6 and 860k6, and any auto parts store should carry them...but if both belts have been damaged, you should take a close look at all pulleys while the belts are off, and see if you can determine what damaged them; otherwise, installing new belts may result in having them damaged by the same cause(*).
