belt squeal at half throttle
My belts are 7 months old not worn out, I put belt dressing.
It only squels at half throttle, Not partial throttle, not WOT but half.
It wont squel in N or P if I rev the engine.
What can be the problem.

Belts squeal when they slip. Belts slip when they are loose. One cause is a weak tensioner spring. Also could be one of the pulleys is binding due to a bad bearing or mechanical problem in the driven unit. If you see rubber dust around a pulley, that indicates slipping, try that one first to see if it is more difficult to turn than it should be.
